I would like to believe what Rojo is saying. Fact is, he does not have the tenacity I hoped he would have developed.
He does not hit gaps or open field defenders as if his life depends on it. Obviously he is not Kamara, but, Kamara is great, respected and feared by DBs because he smashes into them like an anvil.
The largest difference between the great RBs and average RBs is North to South contact. Rojo does not have it in him to make that contact.
Maybe Bucs can shoot for Teague in draft and replace Rojo with someone who runs like their life depends on it.
He is the 5th leading rusher without being consistently used. He’s fine
