As much as we can talk about how the Vikings played down to the Jags and almost choked another one, how about Minnesotas rookies stepping up today? Jefferson had another spectacular day, Cam Dantzler had an INT, FF, and FR. Troy Dye stepped up in the absence if Eric Kendricks. Lot of young studs up in Minnesota
Troy Dye was anything but impressive, the guy misses a lot of tackles.

@Goat 23 honestly I blame our play calling a lot of the time. Teams stack the box with 8 because of cool and you’ve got Thielen, Jefferson and Rudolph to throw to and they still just run for no gain on first down. But I see your point.

Even though the Jags only won 1 game, they had barely lost a few games. If those games they barely lost was a win instead you would have a team comparable to your Vikings.. and the way they both played today shows that. It was a good game either way.

@Dean Ladue You forgot about Patterson. Great kick returner, didn’t do much as a receiver. Definitely not worth a first round pick.
@John Peterson he was going to be a project to start with, was going to be more of a gimmick player like Harvin at first. But Frazier was canned and Zimners staff couldn’t develop him, Patterson royally “F” ed up in the ’16 Thanksgiving game that cost the Vikings the game. Zimmer had seen enough of Patterson.

@BigJohnStudd68 it’s not in the fact it’s a crazy long kick that gives us flashbacks, it’s the fact we’ve watched decades of kickers blowing it then the opposing kicker drills a 50+ yard game winner almost every time. i get unreasonably pissed off every time anyone mentions will lutz or greg zuerlin for that very reason, why can’t we just have a kicker that can stay accurate for more than a season

Thats one good thing about cousins. He can take multiple hits and you never see him on the injury report for a dinged up shoulder.
