@Keith Barkley Minnifield and Dixon. Yes yes yes! We had the Cube for a little while too. Also Metcalf. One of my all time faves, believe it or not: sure handed Brian Brennan. He was like our version of Steve Largent.
@H C I’m a young fan 29 years old but fans have their rose colored glasses on when they talk about Bernie. The guy only had 1 20 TD season. I know the game was different back then but guys like Marino, Montana, Cunningham, Moon etc had 30+ TDs and Marino had stats like you see today. If Mayfield goes in the playoffs and plays like Bernie, he’ll get crucified. If we can put Mayfield in a time machine and have him be QB in the late 80s, we have a ring right now. Who has an MVP award? Sipe or Kosar?
@Brian M one MVP does not make him better, anymore than a 1-time Super Bowl winner and then a dud makes a quarter back better than someone like Marino. I loved Sipe but the Browns made the playoffs in Kosar’s first five seasons as a starter in Cleveland. Plus he was a one-time All-Pro and a one-time Pro Bowler. Sipe’s greatest years were the Kardiac Kid years 79 and 80. He made one playoff appearance. So no, Sipe wasn’t better than Bernie. Ask 100 Cleveland fans of that era and you’re not going to have Sipe come up on top. Not by a long shot.

@G vS You trying to say the Titans weren’t trying to win the game in the first half? If Browns stayed aggressive the second half instead of going full conservative because the game was in the bag it would’ve been a complete blowout. The score does not represent the game in the least bit.
@Matthew Hauserman Going conservative means running the ball, preventing long completions, and running out the clock. Not giving up 28 points in 30 minutes. I’m not trashing the Browns, but do you honestly believe that this defense is ready for the Chiefs?
@G vS No but I think they are ready for Titans and Steelers in the playoffs. Hell just getting to the Divisionals 3 years after going 0-16. This isn’t the Browns of old and they are going to add to that secondary in the off season. Super Bowl contenders in a year or two.

I’ve waited too long for Baker 2have a coming out party but man did he choose a day to go off.
I haven’t seen another team stop Henry, nor cause him to fumble the ball all season. I may be wrong. But, Daing browns defense improving and looking good.
@Davey Patton Nah, coming from a Steelers fan, the Browns did a slightly better job. Henry had 75 yards and a TD on 20 carries against the Steelers and only 60 yards on 15 carries and no TDs against the Browns. Perhaps if Henry carried the ball 5 more times against Cleveland he could’ve gotten 75 yards or more and a TD, but we’ll never know.
The Bills held him to his fewest yards (57) so far this season but he did score 2 TDs against them.
The bears stopped him pretty well.

the browns are just legit better without OBJ. Landry seems to be a much better reciever for baker. also higgins and hooper. OBJ gets covered and they force it to him too much. The current team is just geling better without him. sucks to say because OBJ seems nice but hes a distraction in alot of ways.

@ihatevoyager Landry is the reason why Dorsey brought that cancer to the team, because they went to school together.
