It’s definitely not Kyler’s problem. I’m so done with Zane, and Kliff is still making bad calls.
I’m sick and tired of hearing people defend Kliff saying “it’s not his fault the players don’t execute”. Uh, yes it is. Except for that buffoon Zane Gonzalez, the coaches are entirely responsible for how the players perform. If they can’t execute, then don’t play them.
I’m willing to give Kliff one more year because he only has 2 years in and has gotten us to be one of the top offenses in the league, but we need to get him an experienced OC next season so he can focus on just being a head coach and game planning. If he can’t get it together next season then we need to start looking elsewhere. Zane for sure needs to go, they should make him catch the bus back to Arizona.
@erik3423 Kliff has no business being an NFL head coach. He’s not the reason we have a top offense, Kyler and Hop are. Idk what’s so difficult to understand about that. Kliff continues to blow games with play calling and crucial game time decisions. His inability to make proper closegame situational football calls has costed us game after game over the last few seasons. Yes Zane is very bad, but Kliff needs to be either demoted to OC or fired after the season. A team with this much talent should not be losing these games. Cam Newton threw for 80 yards with 2 INTs yesterday, and they won. Explain to me why we shouldnt have just kicked a field goal to expand our lead going into halftime. And no I wouldn’t have said otherwise if we scored on that run. I just don’t know how Cardinal fans can look at this team and point the finger at our kicker. It’s Kliff, it always has been and it will continue to be.
@Gilbert technically, that 4th and goal play before halftime was a bad call. If you look hard enough, you would see that half of drake’s body crossed the plane, and they ruled him short anyways. I still think they should’ve sent in big boy Chris and just done a sneak. They were literally 6 inches away from a touchdown.

im all for cutting zane, but deestroying would miss tons of kicks too, he has power but isnt used to kicking in pads, and his accuracy is sure to get worse once he has 11 guys bull rushing him.

@Sportz Daily not really, 4th and goal on the half yard line at half time set to get ball is basically a for sure go for it. just because he didnt get it doesnt mean you can look back at it and say dont go for it. right call, just unfortunate we didnt get it. i also agree with no going for it at the end slightly, the real killer was simmons doing the helmet to helmet. without that it still wouldve gone to OT.

Hearing this team after a lost it reminds me Mike D’antoni and his escuses when he was with the Suns
The personal fouls we’ve been committing after we stop them on third down late in the fourth are mental errors that are very preventable. Playoff teams dont make those mental errors.
