Conditioning, preparation, execution, player (QB) regression, offense, defense, special teams, etc. Regardless of what excuses there might be, when there’s this kind of systemic failure it’s on the head coach. It’s his job to manage the team.

Doug has been pretty bad since Frank left. Carson is absolutely terrible. He has literally given away at least three games this year due to turnovers. How the heck is a team supposed to rally around a loser like that?

@ASTROJACK though most of what you say I agree with I believe he does have heart and does want to win . There’s been so many injuries they have no continuity. Every week it’s a different offensive line , receivers , running backs . Playing at this level that won’t work . Plus the coaching and gm aren’t exactly top notch. Has Carson played poorly yes he has . I don’t think the play calling has been good but he should be able to change plays as he sees the defense before the snap . Not sure why he hasn’t rolled out more etc. put everything together and it’s a mess . It’s not just one guy .

I think we can all agree,Pederson or Wentz has to go next year. I’m leaning toward Pederson. Only because thats what should happen if you as the coach vouch for a player week after week and refuse to bench him. You are basically admitting that he is not the problem and you are. From there the new coach can decide what to do with Wentz.

You damn right it was Reich. Doug was calling what Frank drew up. That comeback versus the Giants with the 61 yarder. That was Colts offensive play. Which Frank allowed Wentz to run out the pocket. Frank even helped Foles. Doug winning it all made him arrogant. In his mind he thinks he is a hall of fame genius coach on a play A. Foles called B. a assistant coach suggested that college play be added to the playbook.

@WaR_PiPE it always start with the coach and works it’s way down it always starts a the top if Doug was good enough he should be able to clean the mess up but so far in the season and it’s getting Worse it’s dougs job to get these player ready for a game. It just might need a new Voice in the locker room sometime a coaches Voice can go stale to player in a locker room and some players might not like what he is selling them in the locker room. This why I think a change needs to take place

What free agent coaches are available right now? honestly. It’s entirely on the coaching. With the money invested in Carson, we have to pivot to another coach now before it’s too late. Carson has been terrible this year, but he still has talent somewhere in there, his mind is broken right now and we need a coach to get his confidence back. Wont happen with this coaching staff
