Nathanial Meagher not that teddy isn’t a good QB, but we need a spark he just hasn’t given us. There’s an argument for Teddy as the “Better QB” but I don’t think he’s better for the Panthers.
@Lleyton Elliott didn’t he play in this game and just get hurt? Swear I saw him on red zone, but maybe the weeks are blurring together. In any case Bridgewater is a better qb for a team that needs someone to make the right decisions, like the saints, rather than for a team that needs the qb to carry the team, especially with mccaffery out. Teddy B could be the next qb in a few different spots, I wouldn’t even rule out him going back to NO once Brees retires. Jameis isn’t even playing while Brees is out and we know Taysom Hill isn’t the successor either

You might have a point about his motivation if this was 8 years ago. But lets be real, this man has been phoning it in for the past 3-4 years.
Staffords career is nearing its end and he realizes that, he’s sticking around in Detroit because they pay him ungodly amounts of money. More than any other team would even consider.
He’s probably saving up as much as he can these next few years so he can retire after banking however much he feels comfortable with.
He isnt a superstar player, he isnt successful, he has no real accolades, so Staffords marketability is next to 0 post retirement.
He has been defeated at heart for almost half a decade man. Its just not in him anymore. He’s in it for the paycheck.

@Devi Lisa Matthew Stafford is good. This is a franchise that has ruined just about every player they’ve ever gotten with the exception of two. Put Stafford on the 49er’s, Ravens, CAROLINA etc and they’d have better records than they currently do. A bad Saints defense only gave up 9 to ATL today. Matt Ryan is no bum. Carolina just played very well today on defense while Lions played conservatively or vanilla on offense probably because they thought this would be an easy win if Falcons could do it against Bridgewater. Also has Matt Stafford ever had a coach stay longer than 3/4 years?

The game played well in his favor when detroit was forced to throw. He’s speed was the need to double him and that just opened up the door for everyone else. Awesome play by the corners, linebackers and safeties redemption after a bad game against Tampa.
