raiders bih leading up to the eagles game, Zach Brown, who was his teammate in WAS, called him the weak link of the Vikings. Then Kirk went for 300+ yds with 4 TDs. Then brown got cut soon after.
Kirk outplayed Drew Brees in the wild card game, and nobody wants to mention that. Brees was the 3rd best QB on the field that day (Taysom Hill was #2)

He went from “overrated” to “underrated” almost overnight. I guess that huge contract was worth the risk after all.
It wasn’t really worth it when you look at how much money we paid him, but the reality is he was the best available at that time. Going into 2018, the next best option was to re-sign Keenum, which we were not about to do. We had to pay Cousins that money if we wanted to have a shot at a super bowl. Turns out we didn’t have that shot anyway, but it wasn’t really Kirk’s fault.
