I think the 4th and 15 rule is a good idea. Onside kicks only work like 1% of the time anyway.
I do agree though, the onside kick is outdated. It involves several people crashing into each other and it’s almost 100% reliant on luck. With 4th and 15, there’s at least real strategy that’s involved. You let your offense decide whether or not you can get another possession as opposed to putting all of the pressure on special teams. With 4th and 15, it really helps the better team, because better teams might be a lot better at the conversion. With onside kicks, it really doesn’t matter if you’re playing better football or not. There’s no real way a team can practice and be GOOD at inside kicks. You can be good at making big plays though.

Totally agree. I like the idea of taking a team’s potential comeback away from the kicker’s ability to perfectly place and bounce a 10-yard kick. Give it to the offense. If they deserve the comeback, put it in their hands.

Hamza Mehar I think the CFL has rules for nfl important them in as a Americans football rules they only reason why I like there rules because it 100% makes more sense like I just watched the 2019/2018 catch of the year they allowed ball to touch the field but the players still have to make it not move and it didn’t I like there rules about kicking punt and kick off has to hit the play field before going out of play field and like the fumble rules when it is taking about going out of bounds and the last one to get it get the ball and I like cfl throw flag but still have the game continues till the play is dead if a team has a flag with clock at zero they have to run one more play most teams in the cfl don’t knee and I like how they are allowed to kick back and forth it is so funny.
I think the 4th an 15 would be really interesting
