Guys as an Aussie who interested in your sport why was a soft tackle this game on seahawks QB in the third quarter a penalty? Tackle happened as ball being thrown . Does NFL frown upon QB tackles or is south park rendition of nfl sarcastically accurate and the sport is soft ?
It was called a penalty because the player that tackled the QB supposedly landed his body weight on him, making for a “rough landing” on the QB. The rule is dumb, and nobody is happy about the call.

CMC really helping this offense. Haven’t seen a back for Niners can do both since Craig. Duel threat. Plus Kyle is making it easy for prudy now while learning on the fly. Keep everything in front of him. Cause games will get harder and harder when DC got more films to study. Since Niners clinch. 3 games to learn till the real season starts. But that D is a beast.
