Everyone keeps saying “you know the players made the list right?” Lol we know that but some of these players can be biased at times.
@bugstepper 352 A lot less talent? You do realize the Ravens broke the NFL record of total Pro Bowlers on the team right? That OL is miles ahead of the Chiefs, the running game is also MILES ahead of the Chiefs, and the defense is better. The weapons Mahomes has to throw to are better for his style, deep shots to speedsters, and the weapons Lamar has, big possession TEs and shiftier WRs, are perfect for him

Exactly. In 2018 Mahomes led the league in passing AND he was the League MVP…. was only #4. So he comes back in 2019 wins the Super Bowl AND the MVP… still only #4. It’s like, WTF does a QB have to do to be #1 on this list when the guy has literally won EVERYTHING and led the league in EVERYTHING. Lists are kinda silly but this is blasphemous.

@WaveSki X also flashback to Wilson making it to back to back super bowls in his 2nd and 3rd year and making the playoffs from his rookie year to now and has stayed healthy while also being consistent. Imo mahomes should of been 1 or 2 but I can see how Wilson is higher on the list then him.

I’m a Mahomes fan and honestly if this list was compiled before the play-offs then I’m ok with it but if the voting occurred after those games and the SB then I am mystified. Lamar was on a team that was favored to win the AFC and go to the SB and they blew it. Lamar and Ingram are Heisman winners while Pat, Kelce and Tyreek were not high on anyone’s list heading to the combine. Reid put the pieces together beautifully but he needed a QB to take them to the Promised Land. I give Lamar and Russ love though.
I’m a Raider fan and even I think this is a slap in the face. Mahomes should’ve been #1.
