CP, i know Sean was a real friend of yours, and that all we did as fans was enjoy him on Sundays.. but he was definitely my favorite player on the team. His loss meant a lot to me, even if to you it meant more.

I completely disagree with CP. As a former soldier who actually went to war to help protect our great nation we as soldiers with a conscience understanding know it is a possibility that when we sign that contract that our commander and chief at a moments notice could order us to lay it on the line in defense of this nation. However for CP to keep mentioning that Luck should feel some type of way about boos and that he is laying his life on the line completely turns my stomach sour. In no shape or form his decision to play a game that he is getting handsomely paid to do should ever put in context of laying his life on the line with respect of receiving admiration from other with joy, love, and appreciation should ever be mention about laying his life on the line. If he is laying his life on the line then who is he doing it for and for those who he is representing are the only ones effected. The fans have a protected right to their free speech. Like it or not and playing football doesn’t make you exempted from peoples options. I personally an happy that Luck is getting out with a chance to regain true health, but that’s me and if someone doesn’t view it as I do then that’s them. People are so sensitive these days always standing on their soapbox with their options about how someone should act. Hell we even believe all people should grieve the same. Has anyone brought up that the way some fans love their teams that the act of booing is or was an act of grief.
Also CP don’t bring up conversation about Luck’s money. If you are feeling some type of way about how black athletes and white athletes are treated then have a separate episode on the subject. I’m always for the athletes getting and keeping as much money as possible regardless of the race. By the way I’m black and it is pointless to argue this because you can’t change the hearts of men only God can so pray on it and leave it with the lord.
I loved watching Clinton Portis play. Those Joe Gibbs 2.0 years from 2004-2007 were some of the best years for me as a Skins fan. I think Coach Gibbs is one of the best leaders of men the NFL has ever had. Over the past 12 years, and the coaches the Skins have had, I have kind of stopped caring about the Skins. I’ll still keep coming around to them because they are my home team, but they’ve been lost and confused since Gibbs quit for the second time. I’ll always love Clinton Portis though.
