Hope there’s some gems at the senior bowl!
I get that everyone’s drinking the koolaid of Thibodeaux & Hutchinson for top-rated EDGE players, but this staff has got to get their eyes on Jermaine Johnson II (FSU – EDGE). We have the opportunity to coach him this Senior Bowl, and he’s a special player – he’s up there, even, or better in all the important EDGE stats with both Thibodeaux & Hutchinson, but no one’s talking about him. Look out for him, Lions fans! #OnePride
@Grey Ford I like 6 4″ WR Justin Ross of Clemson for his ability to get a contested pass. They really need a WR like this in the red zone.

@Grey Ford 1 it a big part of a DT and he’s not even a DT he’s a Nose tackle. 2 he’s ridiculously overrated and if we took a NT 2 I would kill myself. We just drafted one too so I think he’s the last person we’re drafting.

Linebackers, Linemen, and Secondary on the American team is the strength I feel Detroit is scouting here.
I get that accentuating the positive is part of the job but I wish people would get off the Levi Onwuzurike PR train. I understand he was hurt but he looks more like a bust than a hit. And Holmes was so high on him he toyed with the idea of trading back into the first round to get him? Maybe that explains the spin.
They knew he was a project player when they drafted him. Most DT take multiple seasons to make it in the nfl.
Also, don’t forget that Levi sat out the 2020 college football season under the NCAA’S covid rules, so he lost a season of playing football. Because of that, injuries are more likely to happen.

IF and this is a big IF Malik pops all the way off in the senior bowl & combine etc. I would not be mad taking him #2 and turning around and getting someone like Burks or London with the 2nd 1st round pick we have
There’s no way we’re picking Malik at 2. I wanna pick him too but I think it’ll be with our late first or early 2nd if he’s still there.
I think Lions are really going to like Sam Howell at the SB.
Avoid wasting a high draft pick on Willis and draft Bailey Zappe in the 4th or 5th round.

I really want us to pick Malik with our 2nd 1st rounder or early 2nd round pick, but I think they’re gonna stick with Goff for one more year and look to draft a QB in 2023
