I was all for White last year, but when a guy like Strevler performs like he did, with getting practically no practice reps, you HAVE to make room for him. The team loved his style and personality, and he showed he can be calm, cool and collected in big moments(yes, it wasn’t against starters, but for a player in his situation, this was his playoffs). White should have been shopped around, and Strevler should have been No. 3 QB, and tbh, if Wilson isn’t ready for week 1, I would start Strevler and see if the momentum can roll over from preseason and if not, Flacco can replace him if things go south.

He understands that this is football and you have show it on the field. But it’s also…..show business!! Look up his hat & cigar when he won in the CFL. Just like Fitzmagic. I’m a Giants fan, but I want the Jets to be good too. The city has a different vibe when New York teams play well. The rivalry between them is genuine. You always talk sh*t to your brother and try to one up him, but in the end you both want to represent your family, New York, the right way.
