@jw1 Cole? He was let go by the Cards, then went to the Vikes for one year, and they let him go. Wouldn’t it be logical if he was good, that the vikes would of hung onto him? Keeping in mind the Vikes have an awful line/did? The “rah-rah ” talk ..Tomlin does enough of that

The Washington team will not take a QB 1st Rd with Wentz. I’d say Hamilton (Sean Taylor) is the Washington pick if there. I’m also not so sure Wilson is 1st WR either. But none of us know and Draft day will be great this year b/c it’s all over the place*

@3 Souls Paranormal That’s not really accurate. Syracuse is a power 5 school and he had 205 yds 3 TD 0 INT vs them. In 2020 he had 217 pass yds and 4 total TD with 108 rush yds vs Va Tech another power 5 school. I’m not sold on the kid but let’s not act like he didn’t put up numbers

@jw1 2 years as a starter at a low lying conference, after not winning the starting job at Auburn. He has accuracy issues (especially,) short throws. You want to waste a 1st round pick on a project? Don’t know football do ya

I’m assuming you’ve been a fan for less than 20 years, and haven’t been to every playoff and SuprrBiwl in the past 20 years..nor a fan for 48 years as I have..
You’re certainly entitled to your opinion (as we all are), and who knows what the Steelers will do come Thursday, but I have a plethora of experience with this team 13 rows behind the bench. I seen all the joys and heartbreaks in the past 17 years I lived in Pgh, so ill let those experiences stand on its own

@jw1 It says I’m not a rah-rah fan, and understand that this team has been successful because of having (in the past) a great defense, and a HOF QB. I’ve personally seen more than the average fan. I’ll say it again, this feed was about Willis, and him being our 20th pick. They want him because Tomlin wants him, and I’ve “watched” him ruin this team. I’m done with them (as the guy stated on this feed) too. Why do you think they are losing fans? Poor decisions based on emotion, and throwing sheet against the wall, and hope it sticks

I agree to a certain degree. Drafting a saftey, especially that early, would mean we pass up some potential cornerstone players at much more pressing needs. With Edmunds back we have 2 starters and depth in Norwood, Karl Joseph. Stiner showed s lot of potential last year in training camp/ pre season. There’s a reason they kept protecting him from waivers in the practice squad. We need another Wr, an offensive tackle that’s talented enough to compete with Moore as the started, a RB2 that’s actually talented and depth at CB. Outside of Ahkello we don’t have another high end athlete at that position. I would say Layne but, I think he’s only become marginally better the last few years and Pierre can’t run with anyone downfield. For defense that plays a lot of man, that’s not good. They also haven’t shown any interest in Loyyd. Well they met with him at the combine but didn’t send the positional coach to his pro day. Or any coach at that matter. I love Loyyd too but a 1st round pick at one of the 3 prime positions (Wr, CB, OT) would be the better pick. Unless Jordan Davis falls. I doubt Willis falls to 20 but honestly, there’s a lot of evidence there that he could be an elite top 10 QB, if not higher. Multiple elite traits (Arm strength, athleticism and football IQ). He also scored very high on his wonderlic test whereas Ridder, Pickett and Corrall scored well below average. It’s not everything but the vast majority of of past and present top 10 QBs have scored above average, with some scoring average scores. None of the top 10-12 QBs over the last 20 years have scored below average. It means Willis has a very high level of cognitive ability and problem solving. What does that translate to? Recognizing coverages pre/post snap and working through progressions. I mean the dude throws 60 yard dimes look too easy. Very few QBs in the NFL have that ability. If he can develop those mentioned skills and look off safety’s, he’s going to be an absolute nightmare. And by all accounts he’s an awesome, intelligent kid who works his frickin but off. I would actually love to trade down from 20 to get 2-3 extra picks in the top 150 if Willis, Olave or Davis doesn’t fall. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they actually traded up instead. If Colbert and Tomlin firmly believe he’s going to be that DUDE then, you absolutely have to get him.
