I have a feeling that Kenny will actually be a better pro QB than he was a college QB, mostly because it seems to me his skillset simply fits the NFL so well. Of course, more than likely, he might struggle at first — nearly every QB does at the next level — but he seems to be a quick study so he’ll learn fast. But it will be interesting watching him play for the Steelers. Of course the Steelers have had two of the best QBs ever — Bradshaw and Roethlisberger — so hopefully Pickett’s name gets added to that group. But the Steelers are unique in the sense they’ve had very few head coaches and very few QBs too over the past 50 years. I root for the Bills in the AFC so I’m looking forward to that matchup if it happens.

    Couldn’t agree more man

    MisoCriallo

I hope you’re right! I pulled for the early 90’s Bills to beat Dallas, only really root against the Mafia when they play the Steelers or Falcons. I’ve befriended lots of Bills fans over the years. Good peoples 👊🏼

    danny davideos

I hope soo o hope he’s the next Big Ben.

    William Dunford

    I completely agree 💯👍

    Jordell Freshbreeze

Agree with all that, except I pick the Bengals.

NRG

Our QB Of the future everyone doubted us and here we are with another steel curtain and the next Dan Marino !

Holden92

Let’s get it Kenny can’t wait for you and Najee to lead us into the future the Pickett/Pickens connection is going to be sick!!

Turkish Delight

He is going into a great situation. How many draftees can say that they are staying in the same area and will be using the same facilities from college. I hope he does well and becomes an all-time great

Mike Turner

That’s my quarterback!! LFG #KennyForRoty

Kenny Pickett more than deserved this consideration. He did more with less. The likes of Trevor Lawrence, Joe Burrow, Matt Jones, etc, played on teams which were loaded with 5 star recruits who became 1st and 2nd round NFL draft picks. Pickett played with 6th, 7th rounders and others who might get signed as undrafted picks. Those who doubt Kenny should watch out; this guy could be another Curtis Martin, who played for Pitt 30 years ago, and was similarly overlooked because he did not come from Notre Dame, Penn State, Florida State, Miami, Alabama or Univ of Florida. However, he became the best running back of his (the post Emmitt Smith) day. Kenny played with people who would not start from Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia and still led Pitt to the ACC title. The low regard which Pitt is held in was manifest still, when the ACC champions were not invited to a January 1 Bowl game. Instead the usual suspects, who were not champions of their own conferences, were accorded that honor…. With Kenny, people simply looked for excuses to avoid drafting the guy. They begrudged his hand size, never mind the fact that it is not only not much smaller than Joe Burrows, but, in fact, by virtue of an anomalous thumb joint which does allow Kenny’s hand to fully splay out when the measurements are taken, the guy in fact is able to wrap his fingers around as much of the ball as any other player. I hope Kenny proves these people wrong, and shines.

I freaking love my team #steelersnation
