Just give the offense to Wilson. Waldron is clearly not that guy for us, and if we leave it to Pete, he’ll just run the ball and never go for it on 4th. We have an elite HoFer QB, let him rule this offense more. Let him make the calls, and see how much better we can get. We’re 3-7 in a likely losing season, why play boring football? Let’s have some fun and get wild with it

    @Albert Quiroz Pete is definitely a conservative playcaller, he refuses to scheme in order to convert on 3rd downs, and he never goes for it on 4th down. He just wants to run, run, pass, punt; if the drive doesn’t get us a TD.

    That being said, Waldron has been anything BUT consistent, we’ve seen less playaction, and less pre-snap movement than expected. I don’t want to pin all the blame on Waldron, he doesn’t deserve it when Pete and our players have been injured or not good either, but I don’t think Waldron is helping us. I really wish we didn’t get rid of Schotty though.

    What I do know is that our next HC has to be offensive oriented or else this league will eat us up for a decade.

Well that 20-15 game was against a rookie QB that got x’d before the season ended. Chase out hurts but Toohill and Smith-Williams are run busters and have talent. Payne, Ionnidis,Allen, and Settle are all bigtime starters on any team. They will stay fresh the whole game. Jackson, Fuller, and St Juste are playing together now and we are starting to see that defense that was expected at the start of the season.

Sign Heinicke to a long term and build-up that offensive line, get that defense working together and they’re gonna be formidable.
