I hope we draft a RB

    jw1

They’re definitely drafting a RB. I don’t think it will be as early as many hope though. 3rd or later

I hope we trade back and get a 2nd and 3rd for our 1st round pick.

Take A OT and RB in the 2nd and Center and LB/Edge in the 3rd.

Cheese….

Steelers need to draft a safety because they have no depth at that position which like the center position been way over looked and will pay the price if someone goes down with a injury.

Pittsburgh Steelers 2021 Draft

The big ten has depth at safety position. That’s why we struggle drafting safeties, you have to leave the ACC to find a keeper. Wake up this is you men’s job, it’s how you put food on the table. You didn’t have Pete Warner in your linebackers, every year Ohio State has secondary and linebackers starting in the league.

The Landon AD

Tre Norwood is a very solid late round safety

Keenan Fuller

Steelers have a good core already on defense, they don’t need to spend a first round pick on one(probably will) just need depth pieces and let the young players develop.

Sign fournette or bell and see if McFarland can develop with a full offseason and Matt Canada’s new system. There’s plentiful offensive lineman depth at tackle and Steelers aren’t needy at guard, I can see them getting a center, but with the recent signings of J.C and B,J I doubt they spend a high pick. WR they have plenty of depth. Only needs they have is TE but that can be acquired later on, along with their other picks. However having an opportunity to jump for one of these young talent quarterbacks to succeed Ben after this season will be beneficial for the their long term success. They proved that this is a one off for Ben, Mason isn’t on contract next season and Dwayne can be an easy piece to retain cheaply. Essentially drafting a true heir to the thrown and having Mason and Dwayne battle for back up.

Remember, Colbert said they still plan on doing something with the quarterback group after the signing of Dwayne. So far nothing has happened and how aggressive Kevin has been with recent round one picks, he’s already signed a one year extension and why would the Steelers renew his contract if they had a feeling they would be losing a lot of free agents, and the most important position, quarterback will be open and without confidence in quarterback in 2022 and beyond why would they risk it.

Idk, just thoughts and hopes because let’s be honest, no matter who they draft in the first they won’t win the super bowl with the same roster as last year and new pieces

Tyrone Johnson

Steelers could move Edmonds to Mlb Next to Bush…..Or Maybe Allen…

Edmonds looks lost out there to stiff… if move to LB or just release after this year would have never drafted him

IanCabs

Talanoa Hufanga is the most versatile safety in the draft to be homest. He can play strong, dime, nickel, or even inside line backer.

Robert Voorhies24

We need one cause Edmunds isn’t it great guy personality wise but we can do better 🤷🏾‍♂️ we need an in the box rangy type player
