Coming from a osu fan osu doesn’t have a lot of talent a lot of times are one dimensional and leaned hard on Jefferson defenses knew that and would play the run constantly our o line is under sized and Jefferson still put up numbers to be at the top of the pac 12 in rushing pac 12 rookie of the year dude is a stud, number 14 oregon at the time the pac 12 Champs did everything they could do to stop him and he still broke the rivalry game record for rushing yards in a game Steven Jackson couldn’t do it Rodgers couldn’t do it Jonathan Stewart couldn’t do it I’m not a loins fan but they got a steal if he was at Alabama Oklahoma Ohio state oregon he would of been a first round back damn good pick osu is going to miss him fs next season

This kids really good. Hard to believe he was there that late. Pretty much ensures KJ will be gone.
KJ isn’t going anywhere. He’s a top 3 pass pro RB, Duce Staley prioritizes high level blocking in the RB room.
He’s also very injury prone. And what Duce said before the draft means very little now. He’s not going to down play KJ until he knows he has a replacement. It’s pretty clear after singing Williams KJ is on his way out of Detroit. This coaching staff has no loyalty to him, he’s not their pick. And let’s be honest, he was 3rd string last year for a reason, also sporting a lineman size knee brace.

Looks like he has great vision and is good at finding the gap, as well as running off his blocks. Particularly he identifies his blockers at the second level really early and has little to no hesitation when getting to them which is going to be really important with the good o-line we have now and how fast they will probably play.
If he could break the first tackle a little more consistently and work on his balance he could be amazing for us.
