What the HELL?! The last 2 and half minutes was ridiculous. The BS fake PI call against the Lions on 4th down giving Washington a 1st down, then the holding penalty to give Washington another 1st down. All this drama was neglected in this video. The Lions were well on their way to being screwed by the officials once again. Washington tied the game at 27, leaving Stafford 16 seconds to march the team down the field and get into FG range. Prater kicking a 59 yard FT long enough that he would have easily broken his 64 yard record. The highlights missed the drama and excitement of all of that. #StaffordsMyQB #PratersMyKicker #LionsAreMyTeam
I’m a life long Lions fan and I’m tired of blaming the refs for a loss. We were up 24-3 and squandered that lead yet again. If we don’t give up leads like that then we don’t have to worry about a bad call or 2 from the refs, which happen in every NFL game every week. Not just against the Lions. This coaching staff gets a lead and then puts the offense in cruise control, which then puts additional pressure on our defense to try to keep the lead. And I’m sorry, but our defense is not built/coached to play that way. So this near loss and every other loss, I put squarely on the coach’s shoulders, not the refs.
@Joshua Larimore The offense and defense have to compliment each other. I love the fast starts from our offense but like you said our defense isnt built to keep leads and the offense has to stop taking there damn foot off the gas. Bevel has been disappointing. I know this offense could be a lot better based off the talent we have. The defense is who we thought they would be. Mediocre
Once again it’s Matthew Stafford and Prater saving the game for the defense.
I thought patricia was a defensive genius. This defense looks sub par, very pedestrian. The defense looks like a sinking ship.
Also that game against the Falcons the defense played pretty well holding a Falcons offense that averages over 30 points a game to only 22. Offense was subpar that day until the last second and there lucky they even got that chance. This offense the Lions got should be averaging 30 points a game. They have the talent. The defense is who we thought they would be the offense has not lived up to expectations up to this point.
First home win in over a year!So pathetic but as a Lions fan will take it.

Stafford would look like a king with 2 great receivers,I mean we have dropped over 20 balls already n that is way to many for guys in the NFL
