All the Lions did with their 1st and 2-3rd round pics is replace the players the idiot Quinn let get away, and gave up 149 and 182 to do it. How does this make the Lions any better? The lions traded, cut, or let go in free agency Darius Slay, Devon Kennard, and Graham Glasgow. Quinn has absolutely no freaking clue how to make a successful team. What a complete idiot. How did we hire this clown? In what round do we start adding talent to the team?

    Austin Holler

Way to comment the exact same thing twice… all 4 guys are cheaper younger improvements of those players. We got the best CB and best RB in the draft… thatโ€™s improvement lmao

    Chris Washburn

Kennards was actually an awful player for us, okwara is an immediate upgrade. Jonah Jackson will produce similar to Glasgow with nowhere near the price tag, and slay was a diva that wanted out, Okudah is better right now anyways for nowhere near the price. I personally don’t like the swift pick. Could’ve gotten a much better defensive piece there. Either way, this roster is significantly better than it was at the end of the season, so successful draft nonetheless

    Restore The Roar!

Congratulations you just described every NFL team. You fill needs, and upgrade via draft or free agency. Unless you wanted to keep the guys we went 3-13 with?

    Ali Charara

@Austin Holler I’ve seen so many idiotic comments about how replacing a good corner with another one was pointless and makes us the same team we were last year. If he reaches his peak Okudah is a Stephon Gilmore type corner who locks your best receiver up all game and does indeed change the outcome of ball games. We already know what Slay is at his best. He’ll follow your best guy around but he isn’t holding them to 0 catches and does get beat often. We added Trufant, a blue chip defender like Okudah, and then used that 3rd rd pick you got for Slay to take Jonah Jackson who is likely your starting guard for the next 10 years. Lions fans are clueless. San Fran dealt Buckner weeks ago to Indy because they couldn’t afford to pay him. You know what they did with their first pick in the draft? They took Javon Kinlaw.

Bob Quinn = Definition of insanity

    Restore The Roar!

    Why?

pdelgado13

The Lions just replaced 3 proven players (Darius Slay, Devon Kennard, and Graham Glasgow) with players that will need time to develop and got a 3rd down RB. So when does Quinn actually start to improve the team?

    Mike Lor

Bruh. Swift in the 2nd was a steal. Okudah is a cheaper, hungrier, younger version of Slay. Tbh, this team got better after the draft.

    Rob Stoned

Youโ€™re straight dumb bro. Okudah will end up twice as good as Slay. Maybe watch some tape on him at OSU? Jackson was graded as a top 5 O-Lineman in this class and has potential to be a multi year starter. Okwara got injured otherwise his stats would looks very nice for a 3rd rounder. You sound ignorant and like you know nothing about football. Also Swift is the best RB in the class according to anybodyโ€™s grading, heโ€™s a power back with speed and he will be starting on day 1. The ignorance is real.

    Restore The Roar!

@Rob Stoned I think people try to sound relevant during the draft. This guy needed to do more homework. ๐Ÿ˜‚

    Rob Stoned

Restore The Roar! Yeah Iโ€™m not surprised he stopped talking ๐Ÿ˜‚ this has been a hell of a draft any fans saying otherwise are just being SOL fans. This is definitely not an SOL draft.

steve O

Prediction that Barry Sanders is gonna unretire his #20 for Swift to wear like Billy Simms did for Barry!!!!!

    Restore The Roar!

    Pump the breaks my guy!

Mike Lor

Swift in the 2nd round was an absolute steal! Swift is going to be a beast. #onepride

Cameron Clark

Welcome man we are wo happy to have u

Chris Washburn

Honestly not happy about this pick. Rbs don’t equal wins. Could’ve gotten a quality pass rushing dt here that actually moves the needle for this team

dominic gomez

Are we forgetting about bo Scarborough? I think swift and Scarborough looks scarier

Chris Washburn

If they go Curtis Weaver at 109 I’ll be stoked

Jason Lane

It’s sad, in the last 20 year players found out how to work the system in Detroit. See you play 5 games to see how the team plays then go on ir so at the end of the year you can say none of the blame is on me.

GB Sucks

The audio messed up

pdelgado13

Darius Slay, Devon Kennard, Graham Glasgow
Jeff Okudah, Julian Okwara, Jonah Jackson.
Look familiar?
Quinn just filled the holes he created.

    Restore The Roar!

Congratulations you just described every NFL team. You fill needs, and upgrade via draft or free agency. Unless you wanted to keep the guys we went 3-13 with?

Greg O'Leary

Spielman nailed the Guard pick guess with Jonah Jackson.
