Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here is a list of Lester’s Legends under-the-radar players that could possibly pull out a win for you this week.
Nick Foles, QB, Philadelphia Eagles
Assuming Michael Vick’s hamstring isn’t quite ready, Nick Foles will get another start for the Philadelphia Eagles against the Dallas Cowboys. He threw for 296 yards and three touchdowns last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Dallas is giving up 308.2 yards and 2.3 touchdowns through the air.
Joseph Randle, RB, Dallas Cowboys
DeMarco Murray’s knee injury means that Joseph Randle will get the start at running back for the Cowboys. He had just 17 yards on 11 carries last week against the Washington Redskins, but he did score a touchdown. He also caught a pair of passes for 15 yards. He should be solid against the Philadelphia Eagles. They have allowed 105.7 yards per game at 4.0 yards per carry.
Rueben Randle, WR, New York Giants
Rueben Randle is averaging 55.5 yards and 0.5 touchdowns. He’s been hit-or-miss, but he is averaging 85.5 yards and 1.5 touchdowns in his last two games. I like his chances against the Minnesota Vikings. They are giving up 308 yards and 2.6 touchdowns per game. Without much of a running game, the New York Giants will lean on Eli Manning and the passing game.
Kyle Rudolph, TE, Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings finally figured out how to get Kyle Rudolph involved in the passing game. He caught nine passes for 97 yards and a touchdown. He has only reached 30 yards in one other game this year. He is a good bet to turn in another strong performance against the Giants with Josh Freeman at quarterback. They have allowed 268 yards per game and 14 touchdown passes.
Nick Novak, K, San Diego Chargers
Nick Novak has 54 points on 13 field goals and 15 extra points. He should be productive against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags have allowed 10 field goals and 24 extra points.
San Diego Chargers Defense
The San Diego Chargers are coming off an impressive performance against the Indianapolis Colts. Their reward is the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags rank last in total offense with 270.2 yards per game and scoring offense with 11.7 points per game. They have allowed 22 sacks and have 13 turnovers.
