2013 Fantasy Football: NFL Week 12 Sleepers

Nov 21, 2013

.
Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here is a list of Lester’s Legends under-the-radar players that could possibly pull out a win for you this week.
.
Eli Manning, QB, New York Giants
Eli Manning has thrown 17 interceptions and has a 57.1 completion percentage and a 70.8 passer rating. He is also averaging 258.6 yards and just 1.2 touchdowns per game. I expect him to look better against the Dallas Cowboys. The Boys have allowed 313 yards and a pair of touchdowns per game. Eli threw for 450 yards and four touchdowns (three interceptions) in the season opener against Dallas.
.
Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Arizona Cardinals
Rashard Mendenhall is averaging just 47.2 total yard per game and 2.9 yards per carry, but he continues to see double-digit carries. In fact, he’s averaging 13.1 carries and 14.7 touches per game. While he’s been unimpressive, Mendenhall does have four rushing touchdowns on the year. Both Andre Ellington and Mendenhall make decent plays against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts have allowed 126.1 yards per game at 4.4 yards per carry.  Indy has yielded eight rushing scores, which gives Mendy hope for a short-yardage score.
.
Brandon LaFell, WR, Carolina Panthers
Brandon LaFell has been targeted 25 times in the past three games. He secured 17 of those looks for 181 yards and a score. Cam Newton took a huge step by beating the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. He’s a decent play against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins have allowed 242.3 passing yards per game
.
Delanie Walker, TE, Tennessee Titans
Delanie Walker has scored a touchdown in three of the past four games. On the year he’s averaging 40.3 yards and 0.5 touchdowns. He’s facing the Oakland Raiders. They just got torched by Garrett Graham to the tune of seven catches for 136 yards and a touchdown. The Raiders have allowed 252.7 passing yards and 1.9 touchdowns per game.
.
Robbie Gould, K, Chicago Bears
Robbie Gould is ninth in the league in scoring with 84 points on 19 field goals and 27 extra points. He’s facing the St. Louis Rams. The Rams have allowed 10 field goals and 28 extra points.
.
Green Bay Packers Defense
The Green Bay Packers are a mediocre defensive unit, but the Minnesota Vikings are a bad team. The Vikes are getting terrible quarterback play and Adrian Peterson (groin) isn’t his normal self. Minnesota ranks 26th in total offense (317.7 ypg) and have allowed 22 sacks.
