Aaron Donald is a beast. Best defensive player in the game and deserved to be #1. Aaron Donald singlehandedly wrecks opposing offenses on a weekly basis. AD is absolutely incredible.

Kelce said it; there is never more attention and focus on anybody as there is on Aaron. He just dominates week in, and week out, from anywhere on the line, for year after year after year, while being gameplanned against to the Nth degree. He ruins everything you want to do on offense, whether it’s a run, pass, option, screen — doesn’t matter. It’s criminal he isn’t number one every year.

It is a shame that JJ Watt got injured later in his career. I love AD and Taylor but 2012-2015 JJ Watt is the most dominant defensive player I have ever seen.

@Craig Wheeler correction he averaged 9.5 sacks per season close. But not 12.5 like donald. And he was in the league for 6 more years than donald so far. Do you not know that the rams sucked when aaron donald won rookie of the year and one of his DPotY. SMH make sure you understand what your talking about I understand you might be a fan of him but 3 sacks a season is a big difference. Also how did playing on the vikings do him no favors if he went to 4 superbowls. Aaron donald has gone to 2 and has better stats as a DT. There is a page on Google that says he has 173 but I think that page considered every assist he got as a full sack his total over 15 years was 148.5.
Aaron Donald is a Monster, his every football players nightmare. He nearly came close to being #1 again.

Every level of his play is off the charts. In addition to everything else he does, I think the aspect people don’t talk about enough is that he really doesn’t miss tackles. If you have the ball and AD gets his hands on you, there’s no escape. The play is over.
It’s not the sexiest stat, but you’re right and it’s probably one of the things that’s been sorely lacking throughout the rest of the league lately. It’s crazy that he does all the modern stuff so well that we overlook that his fundamentals are flawless.

Aaron Donald is a straight up monster. As a seahawks fan, it’s always rough watching our team play the Rams twice a season every season (BECAUSE OUR OLINE SUCKS) what more can I say. Dude is strong, fast, smart, agile, mobile, hostile, and a true game changer. Makes life easier for his secondary when he can put that much pressure on a qb.
The stops that he made that last drive at the super bowl was absolutely insane
