I like how he is named shaquill on the list 😂 he’s A great player easily of the best on the list and for his position. Not many line backers can get picks but Leonard makes it so easy along with forcing the ball out! Well deserved!

I saw Leonard and Warner are my top LBs right now, but this dude is just like peanut tilman with those punches if you played football, even at high school level, it’s so hard to punch the ball out I never Really tried that because I didn’t want to miss a tackle, but the fact he’s doing this at the NFL level is nothing but incredible.

He should be in the top 10 honestly but 18 is ok its really a crime how underappreciated overlooked underrated Darius Shaquille Leonard is he is really on pace to be one of the greatest LBs to ever do it. He leads all LBs (including HOFs) in these stats in their first 4 years ( int,fum,tackles,ff,fr )

@vincent vega he was also graded as a top linebacker in yhe country since highschool. Leonard was called the worst draft pick in nfl history. There was a reason why Ray Lewis was in the spotlight in the NFL, he was great and everybody knew who he was for 8 years before he even played in the NFL.

Leonard is THE best off ball LB in the NFL and has been for a couple years. Since he was drafted he has more sacks, FFs and INTs than ANY LB IN THE LEAGUE. Fred Warner is amazing, he’s not better than Shaq. Micah is amazing, but he basically plays a different position. There really isn’t a better defensive player in the league at causing turnovers
@DaksWinningMVP4TheHaters he can’t dominate interior line or as a defensive back, but I see what you mean. He’s the most versatile in the NFL, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the best at one thing. AD and TJ Watt are 2 players who are well above Parsons, but what he’s doing is spectacular.
@BartenderJacque I can agree with this absolutely. I don’t think he was the best defensive player last year. Watt was better and AD is absolutely a better player than Micah right now. Those are the only two defensive guys I believe are better than him regardless of position. I am saying he is going to prove he is the best LB/Defensive player in football this upcoming season. I don’t think that’s bias at all too say and if he isn’t then I am more than happy to say he isn’t.
@BartenderJacque I wouldn’t put anyone over leonard when it comes to turnovers. He has more TOs than any player in the league since he was drafted in 2018 and nobody is close. To put it into perspective he has had 17 FF in his first 4 seasons and Ray Lewis had 19 in his entire career. Leonard also has more ff, fr, int, sacks, and tackles than every single hall of fame linebacker up until this point in their career.

People disrespect this man by saying he’s not the best off the ball linebacker in the game right now. He is by far the most impactful defensive player in the league currently. No other player has more turnovers than him since he was drafted in 2018. To put his talent into perspective he has had 17 forced fumbles in his first 4 years and Ray Lewis had 19 in his entire career.
I feel like some people don’t understand that punching the ball technique is NOT EASY at all 😂… I play linebacker and I tried it twice, but just couldn’t do it, and the fact that he does it consistently in a professional league is insane.
He’s the heart and soul of that Colts defense to why he deserved to be on the list 💯
