Let’s get it this year
To be honest, if we don’t get WR in 2 out of 4 premium picks there will be extremely disappointed. In GB front office
The point is that WR will be addressed in more ways than just the draft. Gute is not going to JUST add 2 rookie WRs. Yes, he will add 2 WRs from this draft, BUT there will also be at least one quality vet WR acquired between now and August. That is a guarantee.
Those of you thinking the WR room going into the season will be Lazard, Cobb, Amari Rodgers, and 2 rookies are clueless. A quality WR from another team is on his way.
@Michael well we obviously know that they’ll target a vet in FA or trade but what we’re saying is that they need to draft at least 2 young talented ones with those premium picks. The FA vets are either hella old or constantly injured, so add some youngbloods to the mix.
@babyBen52 Well, if a Metcalf or Stefon Diggs comes to Green Bay in a trade, then one of those first round picks will be gone. I’d rather have Metcalf and Olave than Olave and Dotson.
There is zero chance Gute goes into the season without a #1 WR. You can’t just draft multiple WRs and expect one to be great his rookie year. Hopes and dreams get you nowhere fast.
There is no doubt Gute will come away with a couple WRs in the 7 rounds of the draft. BUT there is a #1 WR coming in as well.
@Michael thing is we don’t know if a trade is going to happen, but we do know we have valuable picks to use. If no trade gets done then we draft.
@babyBen52 No, you draft 2 WRs in the 7 rounds of the draft no matter what. Bringing in a WR from another team has nothing to do with the draft. You are not getting a #1 WR for 2022 out of the draft. Gute knows he has to acquire a #1 vet WR. Metcalf fits the bill, but if not him, then you find one elsewhere. You don’t say: “Oh well, we have the draft, so it’s ok if they don’t add a quality vet WR.”
Again, Gute will not go into the season with Lazard, Cobb, Amari Rodgers, and two rooks as his Top 5 WRs. Not happening.
Just go 7 minute OT..2 to’s for each team. No sudden death

@Jacob Lesperance jaire missed the whole year, stokes was solid and should take the next step, tj slaton should take another step and they added more depth on the d line

What a beautiful venue, The Breakers in Palm Beach. If you were wondering how much it costs to become a member to enjoy the facilities, in 2010 I was a member. At the time there was a one time $250,000 “initiation” fee and $60,000 annual family fee. But that only gets you access to the facility. This is not an all inclusive resort. It’s luxurious. The service is wonderful. The restaurants and spas are 5 star. The swimming pools and grounds are second to none. I would encourage anyone to visit if you haven’t seen it.

I really hope Gunty is takin a look at Tanner Connor, Idaho. Big, fast dude. Could be a great blocking WR and can out physical and out run some DBs. Seems like a potential steal after a couple years development
Maybe in the 6th round. He would be a guy you get after you already have Olave and Christian Watson in tow. I don’t touch him before the sixth.
