Kenny Pickett throws the game-winning touchdown pass to Tyler Vaughns to secure the Steelers 32-25 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1 of the 2022 Preseason.

In his first NFL game, in the city and stadium where he played his college football, in front of over 48,197 paying customers who were chanting his name, Kenny Pickett delivered.

Pickett completed 13-for-15 for 95 yards, with two touchdowns, no interceptions, and a rating of 132.6 in playing the whole second half, but more significant was him going 2-for-2 for 26 yards and a touchdown to Tyler Vaughns with three seconds left to give the Steelers a 32-25 victory over Seattle at Acrisure Stadium in the preseason opener for both teams.

    #1 that’s a double negative so you literally just said it “was a throwing TD” #2, Kenny delivered the ball perfectly on time to the WR who could avoid the contact and move into the endzone. Good on both parts.

    Mans literally threw it for the sole purpose that he can make a move on the defender so he can get into the end zone and score. If he doesn’t make that throw with his timing like that, WR would be tackled as soon as he caught the ball. It’s takes two to score a passing TD bud.
