Norv Turner has agreed to become the Minnesota Vikings‘ next offensive coordinator, a league source confirmed to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The move had been widely anticipated.
The well-traveled Turner served as offensive coordinator with Cleveland for one season, following six seasons as the San Diego Chargers‘ head coach.
Turner inherits a Vikings offense that ranked 13th overall, but just 23rd in passing.
Turner joins new head coach Mike Zimmer, who the Vikings hired from the Cincinnati Bengals.
