A source informed of Britt’s plans has told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport that the free-agent wide receiver will meet with the Bills shortly, perhaps on Friday.
For being one of the NFL’s least effective wide receivers in 2013, Britt certainly has an inordinate number of suitors. He’s already visited the Patriots, Rams and Redskins.
Attempting to rebuild his value in the same fashion as Hakeem Nicks and Jeremy Maclin, Britt likely will sign a short-term contract in his next locale, according to Dye.
If Britt does sign with Buffalo, he likely would push for the third receiver role behind Stevie Johnson and Robert Woods.
