Jay Feely says he’s returning to Arizona Cardinals

Good news for those of you who own an authentic Jay Feely jersey: The kicker is staying with the Arizona Cardinals.

Happy to announce I am signed back with the @AZCardinals I never wanted to play with different teammates or for another organization.
— Jay Feely (@jayfeely) March 10, 2014
Feely, 37, was his typically reliable self last season, converting 30 of 36 field goals (83.3 percent), including 7-of-8 between 40 and 49 yards and 3-of-5 from 50-plus. He has spent the past four seasons with the Cardinals following stays with the Jets, Dolphins, Giants and Falcons.
Feely did not disclose the terms of the deal. The timing of the deal indicates Feely was willing to sacrifice some dollars for the comfort of staying in the desert.
These decisions make sense after 13 seasons in the league.
